Today we had a technology focused SMART Board training session for selected staff who have regular access to SMART Interactive Boards. Using Microsoft Settlement Vouchers, our District has purchased 18 interactive whiteboards. So we felt it was important to provide onsite training and support opportunities for our staff. Throughout our District our teachers have access to 21 SMART Boards, which provide our students with hands on, visual learning, access to great pre-made lessons on numerous topics and the ability share and save their work. Our trainer is from the Quad Cities from Brandfield Technology and Supply. She has been great with customer service and support and has supplied our teachers with a number of resources/handouts/ideas to facilitate today's training.
