Socrative is a free source classroom/student response system http://www.socrative.com/ that is super easy to use. This webtool can be used with laptops or other computers, smartphones, and mobile devices. A teacher sets up and account and uses that account to engage students in their classroom content. Quizzes, discussion, drill and skill, opinions, etc...Socrative can be a ticket to all students involved in their learning.
The CRMS 8th graders gave Socrative a chance by answering a 10 question poll in their Careers class. The students enjoy interacting and appreciated seeing all students being involved with ideas for the class. Student said it was easy, practical and an enjoyable way to learn.
