The DREADED day....

8th grade students: Dayton, Alicia and Kylee preparing to turn in their laptops.
Laptop turn in day was a tough day for most Clayton Ridge Students in grades 7-12.   Seniors turned in their laptops their 2nd to last day of classes.  Seventh through eleventh graders turned their laptops in the morning of their last day. Many students were scrambling to establish a backup of their data and project work they created since the beginning of they year.  It was a tough day for most, as many students indicated sadness to be without their faithful machines for the summer months.

The procedures for checking laptops in was done in the students' homerooms.  Homeroom teachers were given a check in sheet to look for damages and make sure all issued parts were there and accounted for while technology coordinators were on site to make sure the "turn in" went smoothly.  Overall it was a success.  Students did a really nice job of caring and maintaining their laptops throughout the school year.
