Virtual Reality Education Pathfinders at CRCSD....

At CRHS we have several students who have taken part in the VREP classroom.  This learning initiative was pursued by our Superintendent of Schools; Mr. Nelson and a handful of interested students got involved with the coursework training and development last summer.  Our Art teacher and TAG coordinator Mrs. Ruth Deutmeyer has been the lead teacher assigned to coordinating students, but primarily the course has been delivered through independent practice.  The intention of VREP is to give our HS students a chance to social network through independent practice to develop Virtual Reality and 3D designs.

This educational initiative offered at Clayton Ridge and across the country is changing the way we think about teaching and learning.  It promotes student leadership, independency, cross-curricular connections, problem solving, critical thinking and unlimited 21st century skill development and practice.

I'm excited to hear this will be a learning option to earn credit towards graduation at CRHS in the near future.  It is an amazing opportunity for the motivated student learner.
