Back from leave....

As I have recently returned from maternity leave, and haven't been in since the start of the school year, I have found a fully empowered faculty at Clayton Ridge CSD thriving with using technology as a resource for their classrooms.  I strive at being a leader and a model for implementing technology in the classroom, and many teachers have picked up the role as well.  It has been an amazing transformation to witness since the movement to 1:1 digital learning environment.

A new CRHS English Teacher has joined our ranks, Miss Nicole Shaw.  She has brought some fantastic teaching ideas and she fully understands the impact of using technology to enhance student achievement.  One way she uses technology to impact learning is she has a classroom blog.  http://shawsclassroom.blogspot.com.

Shaw's blog motivates students to perform and allows students authentic opportunities to read and write, collaborate and discuss.  Student work is displayed for others to appreciate and enjoy.  Miss Shaw has been a wonderful addition to the Clayton Ridge Staff and her work with technology is appreciated by her students and other teachers alike.
