One way she uses technology is she has downloaded videos from the web to help students learn facts about the different regions across the United States. Students learn the various songs and see the video images to help them remember essential facts about each of the regions: Northeast, Southeast, South, Southwest, Northwest and Mid-west. I was able to witness a lesson she completed on the Southeast, and I noticed the kids singing right along to the video. Many stated the video and song helped them remember important information they knew they were going to be tested on.
