8th Grade Family History Project with Mrs. Werges
8th grade students have been working diligently the last few months completing a project based unit in Social Studies and Language Arts exploring their family history. Through of series of research based questions, interviews, photo-finding, etc...students are required to illustrate their work through iMovie. The finished product is a life-long keepsake in the form of a DVD of their family story from their perspective. Students use a number of technology skills to create their projects. iMovie, iDVD, scanners, digital still cameras, FLIP video cameras, iTunes, Photoshop, internet, and multiple other platforms to create, produce and develop their finished movie product. Every product is unique and tells a great story.
